Hailing from Albemarle County near Charlottesville, Virginia, Miranda grew up surrounded by the Monticello appellation and began her career in hospitality by working in the vineyard industry. While completing her Bachelor of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management at Virginia Tech, she accepted an internship at the nationally renowned Pippin Hill Farm & Vineyards. She never pictured herself working with weddings but quickly fell in love with the required attention to detail, the level of personal interaction and importance in creating a memorable experience, and the flexibility needed to bring the pieces together. After graduating college in 2016, Miranda immediately moved to Richmond to join Upper Shirley Vineyards as their Director of Events, developing their wedding and events program from scratch. During her tenure with Dover Hall, Miranda has built our sales department and wedding program from the ground up. Her specialty is curating high-touch weddings, client relations, and luxury services. Miranda brings her astute eye for detail and considerate precision to every wedding she touches. When not at Dover Hall, you can find her drinking red wine on the VMFA lawn, curled up with a good book, and her Corgi, Harry Styles.
